Anita is the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness on the State Fiscal Policy team. Before joining the Center, she was an organizational development consultant supporting a variety of nonprofits across the U.S. in building strong teams, facilitating creative meetings, managing conflict, transitioning executive directors, and leading organizational change initiatives that result in improved performance and teamwork. Before that, she served as the Executive Director of Deep Dirt Institute, an environmental education nonprofit. And before that, she lived and breathed cooperation in residential intentional communities for eight years.

Anita is trained in Organizational Development, Facilitation, Rethinking Anti-Racism, Nonviolent Communication, Conflict Resolution, and Transformative Mediation, and she holds dual degrees in engineering from Northwestern University.
